Dalam penyebarluasan 'virus' entrepreneurship di tanah air, Universitas Ciputra Entrepreneurship Center (UCEC) menjalin kerjasama dengan Happy Family Center (HFC). Pada hari Senin tanggal 3 November 2008, bertempat di gedung HFC di Jalan Embong Sawo, diadakan launching Happy Family Entrepreneurship Center (HFEC).   HFEC akan mengadakan program-program pelatihan entrepreneurship yang disupport oleh UCEC. Dengan misi BLESS, "Building Lord's Entrepreneur that Serves Society", HFEC akan membekali jemaat dan peserta pelatihan untuk menjadi social entrepreneur dimana setiap insan diharapkan dapat menjadi saluran berkat bagi komunitas dimana ia berada.

Dr. Ir. Ciputra akan tampil sebagai bintang tamu dalam acara talkshow Kick Andy, Metro TV. Acara ini akan ditayangkan pada hari Jumat, 24 Oktober 2008 pukul 21.30 WIB dan akan disiarkan ulang pada hari Minggu, 26 Oktober 2008 pukul 14.30 WIB.

During the week of November 17 - 23, 2008, partner organizations will conduct a range of activities - from simple speeches to comprehensive competitions - designed to inspire, connect, inform, mentor and engage the next generation of entrepreneurs.

University of Ciputra Entrepreneurship Center (UCEC) bekerja sama dengan Jawa Pos Group mengadakan pelatihan intensif Entreprenurship di Surabaya. Program ini serupa dengan yang pernah diadakan University of Ciputra Entrepreneurship Center dengan Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM) di Yogyakarta.  

  University of Ciputra Entrepreneurship Center (UCEC) bekerja sama dengan Universitas Ciputra, PT. Citra Surya Tbk dan Lembaga Pengembangan Masyarakat (LPM) Surabaya Barat mengadakan program pelatihan kewirausahaan untuk masyarakat Kec. Sambikerep dan Lakarsantri. Pelatihan ini berlangsung selama 4 minggu sejak 5 - 30 Mei 2008.  

Indonesia masih kekurangan entrepreneur. Jumlahnya hanya sekitar 450 ribu orang atau kurang lebih 0,18% dari total populasi penduduk Indonesia. Padahal, negara tetangga Singapura jumlah entrepreneurnya mencapai 7% dari total populasinya yang 40 juta penduduk. Fakta tersebut diungkap Dr. Ir. Ciputra, pengusaha sukses pemilik kelompok usaha Ciputra Group, dalam workshop dua hari bertajuk "Wirausaha Muda Mandiri", di gedung Annex Building, Jl. H Agus Salim, Jakarta (15/11/2007).

Sedikitnya 300 lebih mahasiswa lulusan UGM mengikuti seminar entrepreneur yang diselenggarakan oleh Sekolah Pascasarjana UGM dan University of Ciputra Entrepreneurship Center (UCEC). Seminar yang bertema ‘Menjadi Pengusaha Tanpa Modal', sebagai pembuka dari kegiatan Campus Entrepreneur Program (CEP) UGM tahap kedua. Sebelumnya, pada tahap pertama CEP UGM telah meluluskan 28 orang calon pengusaha muda yang berhasil mengembangkan usaha donatello, futsal, BPR dan berbagai usaha lainnya.

Introduction On October 2007 University of Ciputra Entrepreneurship Center (UCEC) collaborated with one of the oldest universities in Indonesia to initiate an entrepreneurship education program designed specifically for university fresh graduates. This initiative was meant to contribute to solving the problem of unemployment that has been haunting Indonesia since the national economic crisis started ten years ago in 1998. Dr. Ir. Ciputra (Chairman of the Ciputra Group), together with his friend Dr. Djoko Santoso Mulyono (former President of the Bank Rakyat Indonesia) opened up the Campus Entrepreneur Program on October 29th, 2007, by giving the participants premier lectures on entrepreneurship and Indonesia's history of trading and commerce. This program was an intensive training program to be completed in three months. The focus of this program was on the use of carefully designed entrepreneurship projects to help participants experience the entrepreneurial activities and to awaken the entrepreneur within. Therefore all of the courses are designed to support the completion of the projects.
